You may not have believed your eyes when you read that Jamie Lynn Spears broke up a fight earlier this month using a knife.

Well now you can see the moment for yourself, as TMZ reveal the surveillance footage of the incident, proving it really did happen!

Britney Spears' younger sister was having some food at the Pita Pit in Los Angeles, when a fight suddenly broke out in the middle of the restaurant.

Jamie Lynn quickly ran behind the counter and grabbed a knife in an effort to stop the violent brawl that was escalating rather quickly.

Speaking to E! news, the owner of the food outlet couldn't quite believe what had happened,saying: "I have been with Pita Pit for several years, and have never seen anything like this before."

"The events that happened occurred after 2 a.m. this past Saturday night just before we closed. A group of males got into an altercation and for some reason Jamie Lynn Spears ran behind the counter and picked up a bread knife."
