Janet Jacksons partner, super-producer Jermaine Dupri, has told 'People Magazine' that they plan to try for a baby as soon as Janet finishes her forthcoming tour.

Janet admitted earlier this year that she was itching to have children but said that she wasnt sure if she was mature enough, well perhaps she decided to take that leap.

Dupri already has a daughter and explained that hes not concerned whether he has a boy or a girl with Janet "It really doesn't matter. Janet would be a great mum.

She was around so many brothers and sisters all her life, so she's got to know what that is (like).

Jermaine revealed their plans at at a dinner party hosted at West Hollywood's STK restaurant. Janets North American tour Rock Witchu starts this September.
