Janet Jackson Wants To Raise Michael's Children

Plus La Toya plans to release tribute song for her late brother...

Janet Jackson has reportedly agreed to raise her late brother’s children.

Michael Jackson’s younger sister has stated that she bonded with the children following their father’s tragic death last month.
Janet told Inside Edition’s Jim Moret: “I’ll step forward and I will raise them if this is what they want...”
Prince Michael Jackson, 12, Paris Katherine, 11 and the youngest Prince Michael II aka Blanket aged 7 are currently living with their grandmother Katherine as stated in Jacko’s will.
However, a custody hearing for the children has been scheduled for Monday in which reports suggest, Janet will fight for them.
A source has told a UK magazine: “There was a lot of rifts in the family, but Janet was the one person he spoke to regularly and he made sure the children kept in touch with her too,”
“Ultimately, he wanted Janet to look after the children, with help from his mother Katherine, and was planning to draft a new will to reflect those wishes. He trusted Janet implicitly.”
“When he had health concerns, he had a talk with Janet about how much she meant to him and the children, and how if anything happened to him, he wanted her to make sure the children would be loved and cared for in the same way he was raising them. She told him of course she would.”
Meanwhile, Michael’s older sister La Toya has confirmed that she will release a tribute song for her brother.
The Celebrity Big Brother star, 53 has decided to re-release her track Home, originally recorded to honour her family but now La Toya wants to release the song as a tribute to her brother.
The proceeds for the record will go to Aids Project LA, a charity which the late King of Pop supported.
The song will be available for download from 28th July.
