Janet Jackson ‘wishes’ she could have performed at the Billboard Awards this week with the hologram of her late brother Michael Jackson.
An appearance from the singer was rumoured to be happening, however a statement on her Facebook page soon revealed they weren’t true.
“She never confirmed as her schedule would not permit. She sends wishes for a great event.”
She later added: "My brother, Michael, was, is and always will be a genius. I love you, Mike. Janet."
A hologram of Michael performed at the awards in Las Vegas on Sunday.
