Janets supermarket sweep, Chazza wants a GBF and Hughs invite no show
Janet Jackson proved shes truly off her trolley when she visited a supermarket recently.
It had been so long since the star had done her own shopping that when confronted with a trolley she was flummoxed, and, assuming it was some king of buggy, climbed in.
It was just a normal trip to get some groceries, explained the out-of-touch singer. I havent set foot in a grocery store in years. And thats so embarrassing. But Missy took me to one. Yes, as if this story wasnt celeb-tastic enough already, our Janet had Missy Elliott in tow.
It was so late at night and we went to the grocery store in Malibu, she continued. I kept going: Whats this? It was one of those carts with wheels. Yeah, theyre called trollies, love. So to begin with, I had the cart and I was riding down the aisles standing on it. Missy was looking at me like I was crazy. Were sure she wasnt the only one.
Meanwhile Chazza Church is in the papers again today, apparently desperate to find a gay best friend.
And the Welsh singer has decided her quest is the stuff of TV gold " Channel 4s cameras will follow her around for a reality show that has been provisionally titled Fag-Hag Seeks Fag. Classy.
An insider told the Daily Star: The show will be a fun journey through the Gay to Z of life. It will be a lesson in all things gay. By the end of the series Charlotte will be hooked up with her gay best mate. Lucky guy
And finally, Hugh Grant has been left off the invite list for Liz Hurley and Arun Nayars wedding in March.
But the foppish actor says hes not upset. I dont think many people invite their ex when they get married, he said, so Im not bitter and theres no bad feeling or weirdness. Talking to Hello! Magazine, he went on to chat about his love for current missus Jemima Khan: I like a strong woman and always have. My mother was quite a strong woman and I find men who have strong mothers get quite attracted to strong women.
