Jared Leto has revealed he would pick marrying Kanye West over West's fiancé Kim Kardashian.

"There's a basis of a relationship, and we always have an interesting conversation," Jared told MTV US.

"And being able to talk to your spouse I could imagine as being a really important thing to do.”

“You have to have an eternal conversation, if you're going to be in a relationship,” he explained. “You have to be with someone you can talk to about anything, forever.”

On that basis, he decided: “I'd have to pick Kanye."

The 30 Seconds To Mars frontman – who was nominated for a [uuid=8fd68621-ad59-4cd5-a2df-bf3f19277186]Best Supporting Male Oscar[/uuid] yesterday – also admitted: “I don't really pine for awards."

"I never have. Awards and all of that [are] great because it gives you a chance to thank people.”

“But that's about it at the end of the day. It doesn't make you feel better or more confident."

Which is a subject that Kanye, of course, feels a bit differently about.
