Jason Derulo Asked A South African Crowd If They Spoke English And It Was Super Awkward
Jason Derulo had abit of an uncomfortable moment last night.
While appearing at the ANN7 South African of the Year Awards in Johannesburg, South Africa, this weekend he upset his crowd.
At one point, main act for the nightDerulo askedif his audience spoke English.
Eeek.
Angry people quickly took to Twitter to question the singer, tweeting in English, no less.
Because, as we know, South African people obviouslydo speak English.
Some were rather angry...

He's since tweeted to try and explain his comments, which is probably a good move to get fans back on his side.
"Speaking English" remark I made, was directed to a specific table. It wasn't literal, just a figure of speech when someone isn't responding
