Jay Z Defends TIDAL In ‘Stream Of Consciousness’ Twitter Rant
After a dramatic fall out of the Top 700 iOS chart, Jay Z has defended his streaming service TIDAL in a rare Twitter rant.
The star, who created TIDAL as an alternative to the likes of Spotify so that artists could be paid ‘fairly’ for the digital streaming of their music, took to Twitter to clarify that the app isn’t going anywhere, and to ask fans to ‘give us a chance’.
Stating that ‘we made TIDAL for fans’, it seems Jay is referring to articles slamming the idea that fans are supposed to feel bad that millionaire artists aren’t making enough through streaming services.
Jay also hit out at ‘big companies’ who he believes are ‘spending millions on a smear campaign’ to damage TIDAL’s reputation. Check out the tweets below...

After Kanye West just made everyone confused with his tweeting and deleting, do you think Jay Z has made a good case for sticking with TIDAL?
