Jay Z Talks New Album
He says it wont just be Timbaland beats and that Kanye will be involved
Jay Z has said Timbaland wont be the only producer on his next album despite claims from the knob-twiddler. Jigga told Rolling Stone: You know I love Timbaland, he is like a brother to me, but until the music is done its premature. If Timbaland makes 10 great tracks then he produces the album, if Kanye West makes 10 great tracks then he produces the album; if he makes three, Ill take three. I let the music dictate the direction. Earlier this month Timbaland told MTV News: He wants me to do the whole thing this time around. I'mma make it a classic too. You better believe it. In the new interview Jay Z also spoke about Glastonbury and his extensive European tour. On Glasto the rapper said: I believe they were ready for a hip-hop act to headline, so even before I got onstage there was this rawness. The statement they made before I got onstage was come out and if youre brilliant, youre brilliant and if youre crap, youre crap. And I came up and I delivered on it. And as the far as the rest of Europe, Im being very honest, I really had the best run I ever had in my life.
