Jay-Z Pokes Fun At Miley Cyrus' Twerking On New LP

Jay-Z has poked fun at Miley Cyrus' love for 'twerking' on a new song.

 

The rapper gives a nod to Miley on Magna Carta Holy Grail track Somewhereinamerica - making reference to her performing the latest dancing craze to sweep the US.

 

Lyrics from the song include: "When I was talking Instagram/ Last thing you wanted was your picture snapped/ Feds still lurking/ They see I'm still putting work in/ Cause somewhereinamerica/ Miley Cyrus is still twerkin',"

 

Jigga then starts chuckling to himself, before adding: "Twerk, twerk, twerk, twerk/ Twerk, Miley, Miley, twerk/ Twerk, Twerk, Miley, Miley, Miley, twerk/ Twerk, yeah, ugh-huh/ Twerk, Miley, Miley, Miley/ Only in America."

 

Miley herself seems to have made a reference to Jay's namecheck on Twitter, writing: "Somewhere in America a Jay Z song is onnnnnn."

 

She later added: "That's a win win forrrrrr me."

 

Jay-Z's 12th studio album leaked online yesterday (July 4) ahead of its official release on July 8.
