Hes got 99 problems but the farm aint one
Jay-Z wants to headline Glastonbury for a second time, he has revealed.
Speaking to MTV News across the pond, the Jigga man " whose headline slot sparked enormous controversy following suggestions that hip-hop doesnt belong at Glastonbury - proclaimed his love for the famous British festival and said he enjoyed being at the centre of the hullabaloo. "Of course I'd come back, he said.
The cider-lovercontinued: It was incredible. I'm glad it went that way, because the world was watching. It's not about genres. It's about good music and bad music."
The 99 Problems rapper - who opened his triumphant headline set at the festival with video footage of Noel Gallagher slagging off hip-hop at Glastonbury, followed by a cover of Wonderwall, added that his swipe at the hairy-faced Oasis star was just a bit of British fun. "I have a sense of humour like a Brit. he said.
I thought people would appreciate that," he added."Noel Gallagher was one of the biggest detractors, so I figured that was a cool way to start the show."
