Jedward To Carry On Despite Injury

As they claim they’re not ‘like U2 ’…

Jedward will carry on touring despite member Edward tearing his knee ligaments on stage this weekend.
Appearing live on Sunday at T4 On The Beach the twin injured himself whilst dancing and was forced to carry on in pain.
But Edward has now revealed that the leg problem won’t slow the duo down- and that they can even work it into their live show!
He told The Sun: “Jedward is a professional band. We have to go on for our fans. We don't want to be like U2 - we'll carry on even if I have to go on stage on crutches. We should do a hospital scene as part of the tour. That might work."
Grimes said the injury was the “most painful thing that has ever happened… I could hardly walk and I just thought I needed to make it look like part of the routine".
He continued: “The doctor wanted to give me morphine but I'm like, 'No, I'm not a druggie.' We don't do bad stuff. I had oxygen, gas and air and it made me feel really weird.”
A message on Twitter yesterday from John said: “He (Edward) is going to make a quick recovery and we are excited to finish our album promotion and Irish tour dates .
"Thanx to all our fans for all the love and support . peace out john."
