Jennifer Aniston Wins First Film Acting Award Of Career
Jennifer Aniston snared the first movie acting award of her career last night at the inaugural People Magazine Awards.
The 45-year-old was honoured for her performance as a woman suffering from chronic pain in indie movie Cake - a role for which she has also been nominated for the SAGs, Golden Globes and Critics' Choice Awards.
Michael Keaton was named best actor for his turn in Birdman and Jen's former Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow won the best TV actress gong.
Other notable winners were Jon Hamm for his role in Mad Men, Jennifer Lopez for being a "triple threat" and Chloe Grace Moretz - the "next generation star".
