Jennifer Hudson's Brother-In-Law Arrested

Jennifer Hudsons estranged brother-in-law has been formally arrested in connection with the murders of her mother, brother and seven-year-old nephew.

According to reports, 27-year-old William Balfour was arrested on Monday at Stateville Prison and is awaiting formal charges.

Balfour has been in custody at Stateville Correctional Center on a violation of parole since the murders, but has now been transferred into police custody.

Balfour's attorney said that his clienthas statedhe is innocent.

"He vehemently denies that he is guilty in this case," Joshua Kutnick told reporters.

The bodies of Jennifer Hudson's mother, Darnell Hudson Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, were discovered on October 24 at the family home. The dead body of seven-year-old Julian King was found three days later in a vehicle.
