Jennifer Lawrence made a secret cameo appearance on Dumb and Dumber To – but sadly we won’t get to see it, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Hunger Games star reportedly visited the set of the comedy sequel in September last year - making a cameo appearance as a young version of Kathleen Turner's character Fraida Felcher.

Jen was shooting Hunger Games: Mockingjay during the time - which was situated right next door to the movie's set - so luckily, she didn’t have to travel far.

As yet, no reason for the decision has been given – and both the Farrelly brothers and J-Law’s people have denied reports that Jen asked for it to be cut.

Lawrence once told Jimmy Fallon that Dumb and Dumber is one of her favourite funny movies. Let’s hope J-Law isn’t too disappointed. Quite frankly, we’re gutted!

Dumb and Dumber To opens on 14 November in the US and 19 December in the UK.
