Jennifer Lawrence has an insatiable appetite for sweets, according to her Hunger Games co-star Alan Ritchson.

“Jennifer Lawrence used to walk around with gallon-sized ziplock bags full of candy,” he told Ryan Seacrest on his US radio show.

“She has such a powerful presence on screen and then you’ll cut and she grabs literally every candy known to man. It was funny.”

The news comes as no surprise since the trim Oscar-winner has often spoken out against the pressure on women in Hollywood to be skinny, even suggesting it should be illegal to call people “fat”.

[related]“I think when it comes to the media, the media needs to take responsibility for the effect that it has on our younger generation,” J-Law said in an interview.

“I think it should be illegal to call somebody fat on TV.”

Her strong feelings about the matter partly come from criticism she received back when she was starting out as an actress.

"I was young. It was just the kind of s**t that actresses have to go through,” she said at the time.

"Somebody told me I was fat, that I was going to get fired if I didn't lose a certain amount of weight.”
