We all know that Jennifer Lawrence is a badass, but it seems she needs a bit of convincing on the matter herself.

The 24-year-old actress has appeared on her Hunger Games co-star Elizabeth Banks' web chat series Ask A Badass - but was modest about her own badassness.

Asked to rate herself on the badass scale of "one to Elizabeth Banks", J-Law replied: "I'm like a level one, maybe two."

Told to give herself credit, she said: "I am, I would have given myself a negative. That's my credit."

Banks: "I think you're a full EB badass, I think you're at Elizabeth Banks."

Elaborating on J-Law being pretty much the biggest star in the world right now, Banks offered an unusual analysis of her friend.

"You're a guys' girl... you basically have a penis. You have a man's career now, how does that feel?"

Which made J-Law laugh and reply: "I have? Thank you."

There's loads more good stuff in the chat, but our favourite bit comes late on when Banks asks Lawrence which Hunger Games couple are more badass - Peeta and Katniss or Effie and Haymitch.

When J-Law plumps for Banks' and Woody Harrelson's characters - saying "you're my favourite" - her co-star quips: "We would three with you."

This leads to a look of horror on Lawrence's face and a protest that Harrelson regards her as his "daughter".

However the interviewer assures her that she'll be able to talk their co-star around and J-Law jokes: "Let's get the wheels in motion!"
