Jennifer Lawrence Mocks Oscar Rivals On SNL

J-Law shows off her comedic talents to rib Best Actress nominees...

Jennifer Lawrence has jokingly taken aim at her rivals ahead of the 2013 Academy Awards.

The Hunger Games star is nominated for the Best Actress Oscar for her role in Silver Linings Playbook - and while hosting Saturday Night Live at the weekend, she mocked each of the female stars that could beat her to the gong.

Beginning with Zero Dark Thirty star Jessica Chastain, J-Law said: "Jessica Chastain? More like Jessica Chast-ain't winning an Oscar on my watch.

"In Zero Dark Thirty you caught Bin Laden. So what? In Winter's Bone I caught a squirrel and then I ate it."

Softening the blow, she added: "Every time I see you act I learn something new."

Moving on to British-Australian actress Naomi Watts, Lawrence joked: "You were in The Impossible. You know what else is impossible? You beating me on Oscar night... Oh, and Naomi, you are amazing in everything you do."

The X-Men star then referenced Diff'rent Strokes star Gary Coleman in turning her attention to nine-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis, saying: "What you talkin' about Wallis?

"The alphabet called. They want their letters back."

And finally, J-Law dismissed Amour's Emmanuelle Riva, joking: "An 85-year-old French lady. Yeah, I think I can take you."

If Jennifer doesn't end up with a statuette, at least she can rest easy in the knowledge that she has been [uuid=717daa2a-500f-4e48-bea8-17af355f7023]voted the 'sexiest star in the movies right now'.[/uuid]
