If you thought that you were alone in not being the biggest fan of New Year's Eve ever, then think again, because Jennifer Lawrence is totally on your side.

Despite no doubt being the receiver of quite the array of invites from her A-list besties, J-Law has revealed she really can't stand the often let-down of a night and would rather stay in.

"Everyone's chasing a good time and it's always a disappointment," she explains on The Graham Norton Show NYE special.

Adding: "I plan on doing nothing and then if something lands in my lap… but I always end up drunk and disappointed."

So there you have it, it's officially okay to stay in and eat all of the leftover Christmas chocolate you can get your hands on.
