Jennifer Lawrence Signs Up For Lead Role In Rom-Com
Oscar winner set to head up The Rosie Project...
Jennifer Lawrence is reported to have inked a deal to appear as the lead in a forthcoming romantic comedy called The Rosie Project.
The Hollywood Reporter claims that the star of The Hunger Games and X-Men movies will head up the cast of the "dramedy", which is being put together by Columbia Pictures.
It has been adapted from a book by Graeme Simsion, with 500 Days Of Summer writers Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber on scripting duties.
The Lego Movie directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller had been slated to helm the film, but a replacement is now being sought after they jumped ship for the recently announced Star Wars spin-off project about Han Solo.
So what's the movie about then?
It tells the story of a geeky and awkward professor who develops a survey to find his perfect partner.
However his plans are derailed when he meets Rosie (J-Law), who is the opposite of his supposed perfect woman.
