Reporter Spoils Homeland Plot For Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence was left devastated after a showbiz reporter accidentally gave away a big plot shocker from Homeland.

The star was being interviewed by Access Hollywood at the awards shindig at the weekend, when she became aware that Damian Lewis - who plays Nicholas Brody in the hit show - was standing nearby.

As she became flustered and star-struck the reporter interviewing her gestured the British actor over and the pair embraced.

In a bid to keep the conversation going, the reporter asked her: "Are you upset that he died?"

"What?"

"You know they killed him off? They killed him off on the show!"

And at this point Lewis intervened in a bid to avert disaster, saying: "Don't tell her, it's a spoiler!"

But it was too late and a visibly shocked J-Law was left speechless.

Trying to bolt the stable door after the horse had bolted, Lewis said: "No they haven't... these two are crazy."

But J-Law could only say: "I can't believe you said that! I said the first and second season. I haven't watched the third season. I have to wait for them to come out on DVDs because I'm not patient."

Still incredulous, she then added: "I can't believe you did that. I don't even know what to say."

The reporter looked mortified and stated: "I feel horrible."

And Lewis asked J-Law: "Are you crying?"

"Don't be mad at me," the reporter pleaded.

But Lawrence - clearly only half joking - responded: "I'm past mad. It's this weird other emotion. Mad isn't it. I feel like my heart just fell out."

The news may explain J-Law's unusual facial expressions at the event.
