The man who stole pictures of Jennifer Lawrence is going to jail

The man who hacked Jennifer Lawrence's nude pictures will serve a prison sentence, after he's been charged for illegally accessingover thirty celebrities' intimate pictures and videos.

Not only will Chicago resident Edward Majerczykbe jailedfor nine months - but he will also have to pay $5,700 to cover the cost of an anonymous victim who undertookcounseling services after her pictures were released.

Too right.

The incidenthappened back in 2014, with Edward revealing that he posed as an Internet service provider before emailing 300 victims and asking for their usernames and passwords.

He then used the information to access their private photographs, with the images later being leaked online in an attack that targeted a load of A-List celebrities.

At the time, Jentold Vanity Fair that she refused to apologise for the pictures, calling the cyber attack a "sex crime", and arguingthat new laws should be written in to protect others from a similar attack.

She explained:“I can't even describe to anybody what it feels like to have my naked body shoot across the world like a news flash against my will. It just makes me feel like a piece of meat that's being passed around for a profit.”

Jen added:"Just the fact that somebody can be sexually exploited and violated, and the first thought that crosses somebody's mind is to make a profit from it.

"It's so beyond me. I just can't imagine being that detached from humanity. I can't imagine being that thoughtless and careless and so empty inside."
