Jennifer Lopez American Idol Return 'Confirmed'

Jennifer Lopez' boyfriend appears to have let the cat out of the bag regarding her return to American Idol.

J-Lo is widely reported to be returning to the US reality TV juggernaut, but no official announcement has yet been made - although Casper Smart seems not to have got the memo.

Asked by E! News whether his other half would be on the judging panel for the next series of the Fox show, Smart replied: "Yes."

He is reported to have thought that Fox had already made an announcement about the panel.

Randy Jackson, Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey have all left the show and Keith Urban has been confirmed to be returning.

Will.I.Am and former contestants Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert and Jennifer Hudson have all been mooted as possible new judges too.
