Jennifer Lopez Criticised For Working With Dr Luke On ‘Ain’t Your Mama’
A judge this week threw out Kesha's case against Dr Luke.
As you already know, Kesha filed a lawsuit against Dr Luke accusing him of sexual assault. This week, Judge Shirley Korneich threw out the case, saying: “There are no facts to support Gottwald’s animus toward women. Gottwald is alleged to have made offensive remarks about Kesha’s weight, appearance, and talent, not about women in general. Every rape is not a gender-motivated hate crime.”
With so many stars from the music industry (along with many, many non-celebs) speaking out in support of Kesha, and in the wake of this latest development, it’s perhaps not surprising that some people aren’t too impressed to hear that Dr Luke co-produced J-Lo's new track.
The track, written by Meghan Trainor, is set as a ‘feminist' song with a message which basically lets your man know that you’re not going to look after him like you're his mother.
Fans have been voicing their opinions on the fact that the track has Dr Luke’s involvement on social media:
A source has told E! News that Meghan wrote the song years ago and that Dr Luke produced it at the time, with the producer not actually working with J-Lo in the studio or otherwise, and apparently not having ‘no involvement in the finished production’.
