Jennifer Lopez Doesn’t Know What TIDAL Is, Do You?
Turns out J.Lo won’t be riding Jay-Z’s streaming service wave after all…
It may come as a shock to many but Jennifer Lopez has no idea what Jay-Z's TIDAL is.
That’s right, the 'Booty' singer claims to have no knowledge of the streaming service that’s had music fans scratching their heads and checking to see if The College Dropout is still on Spotify, (it is).
Speaking at a press run for American Idol last week (April 2), Jenny From The Block looked sheepish when asked about Jigga's latest venture.
In an awkward exchange with the Associated Press, the talent show judge told a reporter: “I don’t know anything about it sweetie.”
So what does this mean for TIDAL? Is the wave about to crash? Probably not seeing as the service is backed by some of music’s biggest player’, including Beyoncé, Madonna, Kanye West, Daft Punk, Nicki Minaj to name a few.
Like the rest of us, J.Lo will have to get wise and ‘get right’. TIDAL has already claimed one of its first victories with Hov's debut album, Reasonable Doubt, being pulled from Spotify.
Other artists including Jay's wifey Queen B have also chosen the new site to debut new music, with the star recently premiering her track ‘Die With You’.
For anyone still not in the know, check out the TIDAL trailer, which explains all:
