Jennifer Lopez Looks Red Hot On Birthday Night Out
Speaking as part of MTV First, the On The Floor hitmaker explained that the title track of new album Dance Again… The Hits reflects her emotions after their break up.
She said: "Dance Again was very much how I was feeling at that moment. It was a song that Enrique [Iglesias] wrote for himself and the chorus to me 'I want to dance and love and dance again,' at that time in my life when I had just gone through a break-up of a family, not just a relationship, it was [me asking]: To dance again? Or to love again? Or to do anything again felt like 'wow'.
"I begged Enrique 'You have to let me change a couple of words in the verses to make it my own.
"I went and I did it. When you see the reaction from the crowd when I perform it, it's like, it's mind-blowing."
