If we had a body that was even half as banging as Jennifer Lopez then you can be damn sure we'd be doing every nude scene we were offered.

So it's no surprise to hear that the 45-year-old pop hottie turned down the offer of a body double for the steamy scenes in her new movie The Boy Next Door.

J-Lo stars as a high-school teacher who finds herself terrorised by a menacing pupil (Ryan Guzman) with whom she has an ill-advised fling.

"It was all me," Lopez told E! News. "And all Ryan, by the way."

And she explained why she was determined to do her own dirty work, so to speak.

"It was intense. Those scenes are embarrassing. They are uncomfortable, but your job as an actress or an actor is to make it believable and this movie in particular…hinges on if that was believable, that it was enough to make this guy go insane."

One of the scenes in question shows Guzman fondling her boobs and slipping his hand between her naked thighs.

And her co-star revealed that J-Lo had helped him stay relaxed while filming.

"She was the one who kept me at ease," he said. "She talked me down. She said, 'We're going to do this, we're going to do that. Everything is going to be fun. You're going to have fun.' It was."

We bet.

The movie hits UK cinemas in March.
