Jennifer Love Hewitt Quits Twitter
Actress cites 'negativity' and 'bad vibes' as reason for taking a break...
Jennifer Love Hewitt has quit Twitter, apparently over "negativity" on the microblogging site.
In a series of messages posted on the site on Wednesday (July 3), the Client List star wrote: "Unfortunately with all the negativity people choose to send on twitter as well as threats to their own well being. I'm sad to say twitter is... No longer for me (sic)."
According to Digital Spy, the actress went on: "I have enjoyed all the kindness and love that came my way, as well as support. But this break is needed."
JLH - who recently announced that she is expecting a baby with fiancé and co-star Brian Hallisay - did not elaborate on any specific Twitter incidents that had prompted her decision to quit.
But she added: "Life should be filled with positivity and holding each other up, not making threats and sending bad vibes. To those of you who made it a joy... Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
The 34-year-old's account remains open though, so perhaps it's just a temporary break.
