Actor Jeremy Renner has revealed he's secretly married Canadian model, Sonni Pacheco.

Speculation regarding his marital status begun after Renner appeared to flash a wedding band during a Kill The Messenger screening in Washington on Tuesday (September 23), with the Avengers: Age of Ultron star confirming he's wedthe mother of his daughter, Ava Berlin.

During an interview with digital magazine Capitol File, Renner said: "I have tried to protect my family's privacy, my wife's privacy. I don't need her to get hammered with my life."

After referring toSonni as his 'wife', the mag then asked the star whether he was married, to which the 43-year old replied: "Yes."

[related]Speaking of why he decided to keep their nuptials a secret, Renner explained: "It's annoying being followed when I'm with my family.

"It's not just me - everyone (in Hollywood) has to deal with that. I've been talked about a whole lot, because the less I put out there, the less people know, and it makes it interesting, I assume."
