Jesse Eisenberg Expands On Lex Luthor Role In Batman v Superman
The Social Network actor will be taking on the role of Lex Luthor in the forthcoming film...
Jesse Eisenberg has revealed that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will portray Lex Luthor as a "complicated" man.
Cast as the main villain in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel sequel, Eisenburg will star alongside Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) in the live-action movie joining the two superheroes together for the first time.
The actor has explained his approach to playing one of the most infamous comic book villains of all time, saying he plays a "challenging person".
"There are some indications of how the character should behave based on the script, and then an actor makes it his or her own," he explained to Total Film.
Eisenberg went on to say: "I got to know one of the writers Chris Terrio, and we were able to discuss things at length and figure out who this person is to create a real psychology behind what is, perhaps, in a comic book, a less than totally modern psychology.
"I can only say I've been asked to play an interesting role. A complicated, challenging person."
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released on March 25, 2016 in the UK and US.
