Jessica Simpson says she hates the media's fascination with celebrity weight and has urged girls to love 'emselves whatever shape or size.

The 'Public Affair' singer told MTV, "The media scrutiny on celebrity weight is outstanding. It is just unbelievably sad because it puts so much pressure on every single girl. Even guys go through the same issues."

She added, "Every single (teenage) girl wants to look good for their boyfriends and then they have these celebrities that they look up to who they love and adore - I really want to be a positive role model. I love curves, curves are in."

She urged, "Men like curves, eat food. Swallow."

And the former Newlyweds star who spins around in tiny hotpants in her new vid with Eva Longoria and Christina Milian, says even she suffers from the dreaded self-esteem demons now and again when faced with a celeb mag.

"I have days of having a low self esteem or being self conscious, of course," she said. "But you just have to go to that place inside where you can find strength and inner beauty and let that be your confidence.

"People really do see that - people know when you feel beautiful."
