Jessica Simpson and Gerard Butler have started rumours they are dating after they were spotted cosying up at dinner together.
The Scottish actor and the popstar were seen eating with a group of friends in New York earlier this week.
A source told the New York Post: “They were at a table with friends. But Jessica and Gerard - who sat next to each other - seemed to be only interested in each other and chatted for hours.”
300 star Gerard has previously been linked to Jennifer Aniston and recently had a well publicised flirt with Alexa Chung when he appeared on her MTV show in the US.
