She may be one of the most popular pop stars in the UK right now, but Jessie J has admitted that when it comes to her circle of friends, less is more.

Speaking to Digital Spy on the opening night of her Alive UK tour, the singer revealed: "I'm very family-oriented and I don't have many friends - I mean that in a positive way, I have the friends I need and that's it."

The 25-year-old star often brings her pals with her when she travels and recently posted a cute childhood snap of herself with best friend Holly on Instagram.

Jessie captioned the pic: "My Mum just sent me this. In the same interview, the former The Voice coach was also asked whether she finds it harder to trust people now that she's famous.

The It's My Party singer replied: "You have to prepare for the fact your life changes but I'm the same person."
