Jessie J: 'New Album Is More Grown Up'
EXCLUSIVE! Jessie also tells us about a 'very personal' track on the LP...
Jessie J has revealed that her new album is "more grown up" than her debut, The Voicecoach said: "Having Dizzee Rascal and Big Sean on the track is so exciting but I think my fans can just know that they can dance to this one they can cut some serious shapes.
"It’s about when there’s people trying to bring you down and pour water over your fire and dim your light. It’s about having your fans, they’re like your army, and you’re the person at the front that’s just about to go to battle and without your soldiers you feel unsafe out there. They’re my heartbeats, the things that keep me feeling like I can do this."
Jessie also went on speak about her new skinhead hairstyle after shaving her trademark locks off for Comic Relief, explaining that she now gets more attention.
She said: "I definitely get more and more people looking at me now because there’s not many people with skinhead, blonde hair as opposed to long, brown hair.
"I do get a lot of people going ‘is that? Is that?’ I do get recognised a lot more, I haven’t worn a wig yet since even though some people seem to think The Voice was recorded live every week and it wasn’t."
Jessie J's new single Wild is out now.
