JK Rowling has expressed her deepest sadness following the Orlando shooting, paying tribute to one victim in particular who worked at the Harry Potter ride in Universal Studios.
Sharing a photo of Luis Vielma, she wrote: "Luis Vielma worked on the Harry Potter ride at Universal. He was 22 years old. I can't stop crying. #Orlando"
The gunman killed 50 people and injured 53 in a gay nightclub on Sunday morning (June 12), after calling 911 to proclaim his allegiance to the Islamic State terrorist group.
JK's tribute follows an outpouring of condolences from the public and celebrities alike, as the world tries to come to terms with such a horrific tragedy.
While the Tony Awards, which were held in New York last night, also dedicated their entire show to the victims, as the likes of Lin-Manuel Miranda and James Corden remembered those lives which have been taken.
