Two Harry Potter Stars Have Tangled On Twitter - And JK Rowling Loves It

Author applauds actors for social media banter...

We all love a bit of a Twitter bantz - even fabulously wealthy authors like JK Rowling.

How do we know this? Because she's tweeted her approval after two former stars of the Harry Potter movie franchise got involved in a back-and-forth on the social network.

It all started when Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom, retweeted the trailer for a new movie called Risen, which stars Tom Felton, aka Draco Malfoy.

So proud of my boys. Even after all these years, they still want to kick each other's arses. pic.twitter.com/nwQI7s4jka

Lewis wrote: "Psyched for this pal!"

To which Felton responded with a reference to a sports fixture: "Thanks brother, see you Sunday. Ready for a crushing defeat?? #Gryffinwho?"

And Lewis shot back: "Leave it out. We’ve got plans for you boys. You’re gonna get Slytherinsed."

Rowling was obviously amused by the exchange - and also clearly takes a maternal interest in the young men whose careers she helped so much.

She tweeted: "So proud of my boys. Even after all these years, they still want to kick each other's arses."

Awww!
