JLS Battling N-Dubz For TV Cameo?
The One Shot singers go head-to-head with N-Dubz for TV show role...
According to The Sun, both bands are in the running to star in Ghetto Heaven, a new BBC show penned by Life On Mars creator Tony Jordan.
The series follows the lives of kids living on a gritty Hackney estate is due to start filming this summer with the opportunity for either the One Shot singers or Camden trio N-Dubz to be cast as themselves in an episode where they will play at a community charity concert.
The Jack the Lad Swing boys were thought to be front runners for the cameo after lead singer Aston Merrygold used to be a part of the theatre group working on the new drama.
A BBC source told The Sun: “Aston is a great friend of many people working on the show. If he hadn’t found success with X Factor he would have carried on acting and still would have been working on the programme."
They added: “When he got famous he always assumed that JLS would get the role of the band. But N-Dubz have got the edge now. They are more gritty and more street.”
Maybe Aston could pick up some acting tips from 'new girlfriend', former Eastenders star Louisa Lytton.
A source said: "Aston and Louisa arrived together at 1am. Aston got a table covered in vodka bottles and invited people to join them."
They added: "But while most of their friends danced Aston and Louisa spent the night cosying up in the corner of the club."
The 22-year old JLS star, who used to date Lytton before rising to fame with the boy-band on X Factor has since denied he is back with Louisa, posting on the official JLS Twiitter page: "Another girlfriend are the press sure... Ha that's how many in the past couple of weeks!! Lol NO GF HERE!!! Lol Ax"
