JLS Hit Number One

JLS have stormed to the top of the Official UK Singles Chart with their song The Club Is Alive.

 

The track easily knocked Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg’s California Gurls down to number two while B.o.B’s Airplanes is at three.

 

Eminem and Rihanna’s duet Love The Way You Lie is at four while er, Yolanda Be Cool & D Cup complete the Top 5.

 

The Club Is Alive is the boyband’s first release from their second album- which they’re currently recording in the US.

 

JLS have also started having success Stateside with Marvin from the band recently admitting they’re surprised by the love they’re getting across the pond.

 

He said: “Coming to the States this soon wasn't part of our plan. We hoped it might happen in a few years, maybe once we had broken in Europe. Then radio stations started playing our music without knowing who we were.

"We were offered a deal and asked to come and meet the people supporting us.”

 

JB added: “We're not complaining. Even to be given an opportunity over here is amazing.”
