JLS Star Oritsé In Tears Over Split On Alan Carr
Marvin was left to console his pal after Williams broke down on the show...
Fans will see bandmate Marvin Humes comforting Williams as he cries on his shoulder, as the pair talk about the reasons for their break-up with fellow JLS members Aston Merrygold and JB Gill on the Channel 4 show.
Oritsé tears came after Aston explained that "reservations were had" when JLS made the choice not to sign a new five-album deal.
Merrygold said: "It's real for us you know, even Ortisé's reaction. We've been through a hell of a lot... we don't want to get pushed out of the industry, we want to obviously go out with a bang."
JB added: "It's Ortisé's baby effectively you know, he brought us together."
When probed by Carr if he had been against the split, an emotional Oritsé explained: "It is what it is, I guess. The decision was made and we all felt it was the right thing to do."
Speaking of his minor breakdown, he continued: "It's only because I saw the fans literally as we were coming in to see you and just seeing them cry and seeing them upset really evoked that emotion in me.
"But you know, it is a celebration. At the end of the day we've had an amazing six years together. We've been on a journey."
He added: "Nobody else may have seen the hard times as well as the good times, but we're the luckiest four boys in the world."
JLS confirmed their split yesterday (April 24) - with The X Factor announcing plans to release a Greatest Hits LP, as well as heading out on a farewell tour in December.
You can catch more from JLS' tearful interview on Alan Carr: Chatty Man this Friday April 26, at 10pm on Channel 4.
