The ceremony was hosted by R n B singerLemarand ex-Eastenders actress Brooke Kinsella– who since the tragic murder of her brother Ben in Islington last year, has been campaigning for street awareness in London.

 

Diversity, So Solid Crew member turned actor Ashley Walters – who is also a patron of the Damilola Taylor trust.

 

We also caught up with the Major of London, Boris Johnson who told us: “The most important thing is get across the message that young people in London are overwhelmingly positive, energetic, dynamic and achieving kind of people because the media stereotype is the opposite and anything this can do to contradict it is fantastic…”
