DMTV: What are you currently reading?

Joey: I read a lot of things at once, I can't read one book at a time so I can always go back to them. My favourite is probably The Seven Spiritual Laws Of Success by Deepak Chopra – it's dope. It gives you a chance to understand your inner self and tells you to connect and how to go about being successful in your daily life.

DMTV: What's your most embarrassing moment?

Joey: I was doing a show in Whistler, Canada and I'd just come off the stage. I was walking to the crowd but I was a little tipsy and there was a speaker, but it was a low speaker so I didn't see it, and I just fell eat-shit-face-first into fans and shit. They were cracking up and but I tried to act like it was nothing but that paining, though.

DMTV: How do you relax?

Joey: Meditation. Subconsciously you always meditate but when I turned a certain age and started connecting with certain people I was drawn into it way more. I definitely understand a lot about myself from doing it. I know some people can't focus themselves to sit silently, I told my cousins to give it a try and they're like "I tried doing this shit but nothing happens!" And I tell them that's the point. I meditate to balance out all the technology going on around me, it's so easy to get lost in your phone.

DMTV: What would you be doing if you weren't a rapper?

Joey: I'd be in NBA. My mind is so strong that anything I put all my focus into I will be. If it wasn't for rap all my focus would be into sport and I would be an athlete. I'm 6'2", I'm definitely shooting that three point, man!

DMTV: What's in your refrigerator?

Joey: Nothing, I'm starving! I'm serious. I mostly eat out. There's a restaurant in my neighbourhood called C&Js, it's a West Indian restaurant and they serve Caribbean food from the islands.

DMTV: How would you spend $1million?

Joey: Invest right away. I'd buy some cribs and generate some revenue. I'd definitely buy a car though, but not a Lambo or anything like that.

DMTV: What is your dream car?

Joey: A nice Jeep with off-road tyres. A 4x4 Grand Cherokee, that's my dream right there. I see a sports car down but the line but I'm all about a big off-road truck.

DMTV: What can't you live without?

Joey: Music. I'm already a crazy man but if someone told me I couldn't have music it would be disastrous.

DMTV: Your favourite item of clothing?

Joey: My cargo pants, I really like cargo pants. I'm not really into Gucci and things like that. Fortunately now I can get things that I like for free so clothing is just about putting stuff on now.

DMTV: The best gift you've ever received?

Joey: Knowledge.
