Joey Essex Gets Stuck Into Politics Ahead Of The General Election!
In case you didn't know, parliament is seriously reem right now…
Joey Essex is well known for airing his views on politics all the ti- oh wait, we're thinking of someone, anyone, else.
This is the guy who has coined the word 'reem' and didn't actually know who the Prime Minister was until 'half a year ago'.
But that's not stopped Joey from taking the time to talk to three party leaders ahead of May's General Election, and put the toughest questions to them in his new series of Educating Joey.
As for why he decided to tackle the subject, Joey told Heat mag in a Q&A: "I done the show really because I didn't know much about politics - they don't really do it at GCSE."
But if he was in charge of the UK, what would he change?
"I would put speed cameras in shopping centres. You know when you're shopping and there are people walking really slow? Well they'd all get fined."
On whether his new series has given him a taste for politics…
"I'd love to go into it, but I can't say I will actually sit in court screaming and taking notes. I can only just about remember all their names."
While the big question is, will Joey be the next MP for his locals?
"I mean, I'm pretty much ruling Essex anyway, but I wouldn't mind ruling it on the books, like it's actually on contract: Joey rules Essex. I'm the right man for it - it's my name."
We couldn't agree more.
