Joey Essexwas reportedly rushed to hospital after being bitten by a monkey during a filming trip to Africa.
The formerThe Only Way Is Essex cast member is currently visiting South Africa and Uganda as part of a new travel show he's making for ITV2 - and producers had apparently taken him to a flea market in Johannesburg to meet a tame monkey.
A source told The Sun: "Joey was so excited as he loves monkeys — but Milo immediately bit him.
"Despite having his jabs, Joey freaked out saying he was going to catch rabies. He saw a doctor and everything was fine."
Joey recently shared a Twitter picture of himself taking in a dramatic view while perched on a precarious looking cliff edge.
