Johnny Depp Admits He Enjoys Playing With Barbies And Painting Elephants

As if we needed any more reasons to love Johnny Depp! The 50-year-old actor unashamedly confessed to playing with Barbie dolls during an appearance on The Ellen Show today.
While playing a game of ‘True or False’, host Ellen DeGeneres asked the Pirates of the Carribean star whether it was true he played with Barbies. “Not as much as I used to, lets say,” he replied.
“When my daughter was little I played a lot of Barbie. It took me a while to shake [it off]. I guess it’s when I got caught by myself with the Barbies that really did it.”
Referring to how liberal California was, he jokingly added: “You can smoke pot with Barbies!”
Other topics Johnny clarified where whether he wanted to be a basketball player with the Harlem Globetrotters (he did) and whether he enjoys painting elephants.
“I do,” said Johnny. But when asked if he was a good painter, he replied: “No. I paint like a toddler.”
“I love elephants, certainly. I like the shape of elephants, the various shapes in terms of painting, a lot of different textures and things on elephants.”
And if you’re wondering how many paintings of elephants Johnny has done so far, according to the man himself, the answer is: “About 11.”
