Jon Hamm is clearly doing his best not to become typecast after playing Mad Men's Don Draper for so long - because his next big film is a long way from Madison Avenue.

The 43-year-old actor plays sports agent JB Bernstein in Million Dollar Arm, a feelgood comedy-drama mostly set in India.

And a lengthy new trailer for the Disney flick sees Hamm's character setting up a reality TV contest to find a new baseball star in the Asian nation.

The true-life story sees him discovering pitchers Dinesh Patel (Madhur Mittal) and Rinku Singh (Suraj Sharma) - who use their cricket experience to impress in the US-centric sport.

Lake Bell also stars in the film, playing Hamm's love interest - a character called Brenda.

Million Dollar Arm is set for release on 29 August.
