Joseph Gordon-Levitt has confirmed that he has had "discussions" about taking on the lead role in the upcoming film adaptation of the Ant-Man comics.
The actor was rumoured to have met with Marvel and the project's director Edgar Wright, but in a new interview with Huffington Post France he insisted that no final decisions have been made.
The 32-year-old star told the publication: "There are always a lot of rumours around these projects and so far it is still only discussions."
Gordon-Levitt, who previously appeared in the Batman film The Dark Knight Rises, continued: "I am always very transparent when it comes to my roles and my career. I'm usually the first to speak and communicate with my fans if something happens.
He concluded: "If you hear nothing from me, they are just rumours."
