It's claimed her Royal connections could have been the motive...
Two men who [uuid=0de30f7f-e005-4824-9f1e-cf6d46f491e7]Joss Stone have appeared in court, where it was revealed that the pair planned to behead the star.
Last June, Kevin Liverpool and Junior Bradshaw were charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and grievous bodily harm, with it now emerging that they were stopped near Stone's home in Devon with a Samurai sword, hammers and a knife.
According to The Sun, prosecutors claimed that notes were found threatening to "decapitate" the 25-year old, also branding Joss "she-devil in the flesh."
They are also said to have wanted to kill Stone - real name Jocelyn Eve Stoker - because of her connections to the Royal Family.
Other letters read “Jocelyn RIP”, “find river to dump her”, “look for jewellery box”, as well as other anti-royal messages such as the Queen’s “system” was “taking the p***”.
Prosecuting, Simon Morgan QC is quoted by the tabloid as saying: “The documents appear to express disapproval of the Royal family and the Queen.
"Joss Stone associates with members of the Royal family — her concerts have been attended by members of it and she was invited to the Royal wedding.
“The defendants didn’t like that and made remarks about the Queen. Hence she becomes a target. The documents express their hatred of her.
“With this arsenal of weapons it is obvious they were intent upon serious violence. The intended target is Joss Stone — their intention was to rob and kill her.”
In relation to claims that they had planned to behead the Right To Be Wrong hitmaker, he added that the Samurai sword found in their car was "a very handy weapon for that purpose”.
Both Liverpool and Bradshaw deny conspiracy to murder, conspiracy to rob and conspiracy to commit GBH. Their trial is expected to last for three weeks.
