Joss Wins British Urban Act at BRITs

Joss Stone has picked up the British Urban Act at this year's BRIT Awards.
The young soulstress from Devon fended off stiff competition from the likes of Jamelia and Dizzee Rascal to go home with the MTV Base-associated award at last night's 25th annual BRITs.
17-year-old Joss also won Best British Female.
Meanwhile, New Yorks Scissor Sisters managed to turn all of their nominations into gongs: the five-piece band walked away with three awards for Best International Act, Best International Newcomers and Best International Album.
Franz Ferdinand picked up two awards out of a possible five, Keane also scooped two and Robbie Williams, who picked up a record 15th Brit after 'Angels' was voted Best Song of the past 25 years.
Bob Geldof was honoured with the Lifetime Contribution to Music award.
Jamelia and Natasha Bedingfield, who were nominated for three gongs each, both walked home empty-handed.
