Seven Things You Need To Know About Vicky Pattison's Judge Geordie
Vicky Pattison's back! And there's some carnage in store in her new show, Judge Geordie...
The wait is finally over, Judge Geordie hits screens tonight (June 3) at 9pm on MTV with Vicky playing judge, jury and executioner to sort out the nation’s relationship perils.
1. Vicky Has A Soft Side… Wait… WHAT!?
A revelation nobody was ready for is that Vicky actually has a softer side to her, particularly when it comes to presiding over family cases.
"Everyone's got this impression of me being this hard-faced, really opinionated, iron cow,” she explained.
I will be really firm and really opinionated and harsh or whatever. But a lot of these cases are families, and that breaks my heart.”
2. She’s Learned A Lot From Her Time In Geordie Shore
Whether it’s Gaz kicking off, Marnie throwing a tantrum or tashing on where there shouldn’t be tashing on, the lass has been through it all and isn’t afraid to hold back…
“I've been through a lot and I've been in situations in things like Geordie Shore where I've seen a lot of my friends go through things and I do think I've got a wealth of advice and experience to pass on but some people I just look at them and I think, 'You're wasting my f**king time,” she exclaimed.
3. Expect Men In Drag, Possibly Named ‘Eileen Dover’
Vicky has revealed the strangest case on the show involved a drag queen with an extreme case of split personality.
Recalling one defendant she joked: "The sign of a good drag queen is that you meet them during the day when they're being Derek and they're just Derek, they're fine, you'd never assume.
"And then on a night out Derek becomes Eileen Dover or whatever she wants to be and she's a totally different person. And they go back to being Derek the next day. But this guy we met, it was almost split personality. The drag queen part of him was ruining his ordinary life. She was just a destructive influence."
4. Throwing Drinks And Storming Off Is The Norm In The Judge Geordie Courtroom
Oh yes, by the sound of things Judge Geordie’s chamber of justice is at times no different from a Friday night in the Toon.
"We've had some storm offs," Vicky recalls. "Quite a lot of storm offs. We've had a couple of drinks being thrown. We've had a lot of tears, so many tears!"
Howay and we thought that was just a Bijoux thing…
5. Vicky Has Been Known To “Throw” Alex To The Lesbians
The pair generally get on quite well, but according to Alex that’s not always been the case, replying to Vicky’s claim that they NEVER argue, he said:
"Apart from that time when you threw me to the lesbians and you said you wanted me to get swilled. That was a bit horrible."
6. And No… There’s No Romance Between Them
This pair are definitely just friends according to Vicky, although she did reveal that she thought her co-star was a bit fit when they first met.
"I'll hold my hands up, when I first met you I thought you were lovely looking," she said.
But then quicky took it back, adding: "Then you spend five minutes with him."
7. She Wouldn’t Say No To A Judge Geordie / Geordie Shore Spin-Off!
You can only imagine the chaos that would ensue from a crossover with Vicky playing peacemaker to the Geordies' problems.
"I mean, I wouldn't even know where to start, I really wouldn't. Judge Geordie celebrity special – that's next, isn't it?," she teased.
