Just Jack to Write New Kylie Tune?

Funky London dance dude Just Jack has told MTV.co.uk he might write a comeback song for Kylie.

Jack, who mixes hip hop, house, soul and folk to make a wickedly catchy sound, is being groomed for big things and already counts Elton John and Radio 1's Jo Whiley as big fans.

And now the diminutive Aussie diva says she loves his work.

"I'm trying to get round to writing a song for her; there has been talk about it," he told us. "Elton played my album to her and apparently she really liked the lyrics.

"She likes to experiment and if I could write an interesting pop song for her I would."

With support from two such massive names it shouldn't be too long till Jack becomes a household name.

He tells us Mr John has been supporter since the early days when he released his first album 'Outer Marker'. His first record deal fell through but the Londoner was snapped up by Mercury after Elton intervened.

"He picked up on my first album and wrote that it was his favourite album of the year in Time Out. When I lost my deal he was a massive support: he put me in touch with his management company and Mercury."

And now the pair are good pals.

"He calls me regularly and we've become mates, although sometimes it still feels a bit strange, expecially when I take a call and my mates are around and I'm like, 'Hi Elton'!"

"He has given me some good advice and told me to just play as many live shows as I can."

Just Jack's fab new tune 'Writer's Block' is out this week. The album 'Overtones' is out in January.
